fun?
what a joke the Lincoln Park ZooLights is. that is their idea of holiday nature fun? I advise anyone in the greater Chicago area to stay away as far as you can. last night i felt a small glimpse of what it would feel like to be locked in a cage like the animals are. even the music they played during the event sucked; they played some holiday itunes sample through the speakers, where each song was between 15-20 seconds long. upon arrival through the gates they funnel you and the rest of the crowd into the gift shops where 7 dollar cups of hot coco are pathetically purchased by date-goers…..more of a purchase to waste time and prolong the inevitable disappointment they reluctantly hide behind smiling faces. I’ve never seen such a boring holiday gathering in my life. I honestly felt sorry for society last night- I’ve never witnessed such a sad, desperate plead on the faces of thousands. the chumps who put on this zoo-freak spectacle need to be put on trial and fined for wasting the time and money of fellow Chicagoans.
